Joanna utilises excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to help clients to develop tailored solutions that enable them to harness the business case for sustainability. Joanna has expertise in sustainability strategy development at both the industry (private and government) and organisation levels.
Joanna is experienced in the application of foresight research and scenario planning tools to enable clients to envision a sustainable future for their organisations.

Joanna has a particular expertise in the application of high level analytical skills to understand, interpret, simplify and communicate complex commercial and sustainability concepts.
Prior to joining Business Shaper, Joanna worked as a sustainability professional in both Australia and the UK.
In her previous role with the UK rail industry, Joanna managed the Sustainable Rail Program where she applied her highly developed program and project management skills to a diverse range of cross-industry projects.
Joanna worked closely with stakeholders to build a shared understanding of sustainability risks and opportunities and facilitate agreements between those with divergent views.

Joanna has excellent communication skills and oversaw the publication of the industry’s first Sustainability Report and development of the Rail Industry Sustainable Development Principles. Joanna is finishing a Masters of Sustainability and Environment and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours). Joanna is passionate about furthering the application of sustainable business practices in delivering a more sustainable future.
