Project: Environmental Susutainability Strategy Report

Challenge: Following a review by The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) of their 2005 developed environmental strategy, the department identified the need for the development of a revised and updated strategy.

Solution: Development of an environmental sustainability strategy that clearly articulated the drivers for environmental sustainability; outlined how sustainability supports the delivery of the Department's core objectives and strategic plan; identified the key objectives for the next 1-5 years and the governance structure to deliver those objectives; ensured flexibility and the processes to ensure that it remained a relevant and 'living' document that can change as the Department and its priorities change. Both the content and graphic presentation were well received by external stakeholders and considered to be leading edge for a government department
